Hello, welcome

Hello, I’m Katrin, a qualified counsellor based in Newcastle. Thank you for being here.

I work in a neurodiversity-affirming way with adults, young people, and couples, offering a warm, thoughtful space where you can be yourself, explore what’s going on for you, and feel heard and understood.

Feel free to take a look around and see if working together feels right for you.

Let’s Talk

I offer relaxed, collaborative therapy, supporting you in navigating anxiety, low mood, neurodiversity (including autism, ADHD, and AuDHD), relationship difficulties, feeling stuck, low confidence, grief and loss, life transitions, and questions of identity and meaning.

Sessions are available online, by phone, or outdoors as walk-and-talk therapy in Leazes Park.

Being heard is powerful

Counselling offers time to think and room to breathe. In a calm, confidential space, you can talk freely about what’s been on your mind and begin to make sense of things.

When we work together, I’ll listen carefully and ask gentle, reflective questions to help you explore your thoughts and feelings, and what matters most to you.

A way to begin moving forward

Here, you have time and space to find direction when things feel unclear, understand what may be getting in the way, and explore new ways forward, at a pace that feels right for you.

Sessions are collaborative, where you can talk through what’s been going on for you, including the thoughts, feelings, and patterns that can feel difficult to untangle on your own, and begin to make sense of things.

A new perspective

Sometimes it can help to look at things from a fresh perspective. Counselling offers space to understand yourself more deeply, reflect on what’s been happening in your life and relationships, and begin to discover new possibilities.
